Deuces Are Wild

The genre of the show was set as a drama so the title sequence had to match that look and feel. The pacing of each shot was designed to be rather slow and methodical to allow time for the text to appear and for the viewer to have time to read it. The show was set in the past so in order to achieve that historical look the saturation of each scene was lowered and a grain overlay was added. A serif typeface was selected for the credits as it lent itself nicely to the upper-class aesthetic of all the scenes. A variety of transitions for the text were incorporated to keep the viewer engaged and create a sense of interaction and play within each scene.
